Board Member Bradford Kicks Off Bennett Spring Fundraising Campaign

At a recent board meeting the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation decided to raise funds for a new viewing and fishing platform along the spring branch at Bennett Spring State Park. This was in response to a request from MDC director Bob Ziehmer to help make this project a reality. As soon as the board decided to take on the project, board member Steve Bradford kicked the campaign into gear by donating $5,000 on behalf of Pyramid Home Health Services. Since then many other board members and other interested people have made donations toward the $45,000 project. MCHF plans to raise this amount by November 10th. As of September 1st about half of the funding had been secure.

Steve and Marilynn Bradford, representing Pyramid Home Health Services, receive a trout print and a big “thank you” from MCHF executive vice president Rick Thom. The Bradford’s generous pledge kicked off the $45,000 funding campaign
